Run All Night 2015
Well, it’s kind of the same classic Liam Neeson flick. A troubled older man with a violent past, protecting his family while being hunted by criminals and using the skills he spent years trying to leave behind. You already know the formula. Nothing new here.
Love Martin Ruhe’s work here. The nighttime cinematography, lighting, framing, and the way New York looks dark, cold, and dangerous really fit the story. The city itself feels like part of the chase. The last part also is incredibly shot.
