Creed 2015

<blockquote>You got to believe you can do it.</blockquote>The training montage is one of my favorite parts. I also like how Rocky’s mannerisms slowly come back. Love the long takes, especially the first fight. It pulls me into the ring and makes everything feel more real. The cinematography also stands out during serious moments. The use of slow motion with blood splatter reminds me of Raging Bull. For me, this might be Ryan Coogler’s most cinematic film. Sinners and Black Panther cannot! The musical score is also great. Another Ludwig masterpiece! It really elevates the emotional and motivational beats of the film. My only complaint is it leaned too much on the antinepotism drama and the closing chapter of Rocky. Those elements slow down the momentum for me, that is why the momentum went downhill before the third act picked up the pace again.
