Don’t bring a machete to a fucking katana duel. Still has those satisfying, ferocious, brutal fight scenes with cool camera work. The cinematography really shines in the final battle. It feels like they are inside a vibrant music video despite how violent the set piece is. Sharon Stone did a great job as the main villain. She has this commanding presence as a strong female antagonist who does not need some complicated sympathetic motivation. She is simply ruthless, powerful, and driven by pure evil intent
