The cinematography sometimes feels like a documentary. The use of handheld cameras, and natural lighting makes certain scenes look almost like real footage rather than a period film. Parang may pagka on the ground observer feel, like the camera is just there witnessing events as they unfold. This film feels like Heat but set in The Godfather’s classic gangster era. Cat and mouse dynamic between law enforcement and criminals, but placed in a 1930s setting with suits, tommy guns, and old school bank robberies.
