The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 2009

You gotta trust a movie when it has a Scott directing, a train, and Denzel Washington right in the middle of it. The movie gets more exciting as it goes, and the shootout near the end gives it a nice burst of action after all the tension. John Travolta is easily the best thing here. He brings so much aggression, unpredictability, and personality to the villain that every scene immediately becomes more interesting whenever he shows up.
