Lily James is so beautiful as always. But more than that, she carries the film with a quiet strength. The pitch scenes are great. They feel very natural, raw, and intuitive. Walang OA na movie dialogue. It feels like real founders trying to sell an idea, reading the room, adjusting on the fly. The energy in the campus really spikes once the users start coming in. You can feel the momentum, the excitement, and the chaos of something finally working. At the same time, I can really empathize with her being left out even though she is a co-founder. That feeling of watching something you helped build slowly move away from you is painful. The film doesn’t sugarcoat the ugliness of the legal reality. Contracts, power moves, and technicalities can easily erase people from their own creation. It’s frustrating, but very real. At its core, this is a story of redemption. Of standing your ground and fighting for what is right, even when the system is stacked against you. The film believes that doing the right thing eventually comes back to you, not immediately, but in a way that restores dignity. Simple, grounded, and quietly motivating.
