Fargo 1996
It is nice to see William H. Macy taking a lead role. His character is twisted by desperation and keeps digging himself deeper the more he tries to fix things. Young Peter Stormare with that slick brushed up hair honestly looks like Ryan Gosling. Their eyes and jawlines look astonishingly similar. I was also distracted once again by the accent, this time from Frances McDormand. I checked her filmography but I barely recognized her from those movies, maybe because without that accent she does not stand out as much to me. Still, kudos for the leg shot scene.
Another meh for the Coen for me. But I guess this one works better story wise than No Country for Old Men, though visually it is less striking in its shots.
