NON-SPOILER: Run and gun from the start. A skeletal crew setup that already spells disaster. Maganda ang night cinematography sa swamp. The darkness actually works here, giving texture and tension to the environment instead of just hiding things. Maganda ang CGI ng snake. Kapanipaniwala yung scales, weight, and movement. The creature actually feels like a real threat when it shows up. Paul Rudd is an actor who mostly just plays himself and doesn’t really disappear into another character. Ang funny ng urinary stage fright scene. Ang dami ring stupid stuff, but the funny kind. The film knows it’s ridiculous and leans into it. There’s also some showbiz commentary about shooting a film without an ending, just going along and figuring it out as they go. Really fits the chaos of the story. Nice cameos too.
