Men Staring Through Moral Damage
A Robert De Niro ranking from my watched films: crime gravity, old-school intensity, tired fathers, dangerous mentors, and men who look like they have not had peace since 1974. Ranked by stars first, then by emotional weight, rewatch value,

Detective style mystery, may pagka Knives Out with the world vibe of Sherlock Holmes and the grit of Peaky Blinders.

The Godfather Part II shifts away from loud violence into quiet power plays, where conversations, looks, and decisions carry more danger than gunfire.

This is a grounded startup story that takes its time building empathy for an underdog boxed in by financial pressure, family dynamics, and self doubt.

I immediately felt Tarantino’s signature rhythm in how tension is built through conversations, framing, and quiet maneuvering instead of nonstop action.

Such a fun, light movie. Sometimes I go into movies completely blind without reading the premise or even watching the trailer, and this was one of those times.

Ang bata ni Robert De Niro dito. Parang batang Jake Gyllenhaal energy sa Donnie Darko.

It has the same vibes as Goodfellas, The Godfather, and The Departed with its mafia centered story and criminal world.
