The Intern 2015

Such a fun, light movie. Sometimes I go into movies completely blind without reading the premise or even watching the trailer, and this was one of those times. I actually thought it was the other way around, that Anne Hathaway was the intern and Robert De Niro was the boss. It feels like a father and daughter story even though they are completely unrelated. This is honestly my favorite Robert De Niro film next to Heat, at least from his older era. He is not the usual intimidating gangster, or scheming tough guy, so watching him play someone this warm, decent, and effortlessly likable is refreshing. He is basically Mr. Congeniality here.
