Watching this film, I felt very lucky that I have financial freedom and I’m not stuck in a badly chosen investment vehicle, whether property or crypto. This film talks about bad debts and how people become gullible to pump and dump schemes out of desperation, hoping for a jackpot. Ang galing ng visuals in showing psychological breakdown. Ramdam mo yung pressure and mental collapse as things spiral out of control. Nakakatawa at nakakaawa din yung greediness ng characters. May opportunity na sana, pero ayaw pa ring igrab. Ganun talaga kapag hindi maayos ang financial foundation. The film briefly touches on the suicidal tendencies of some crypto users/traders, adding a darker layer to the desperation without overdoing it. The editing and camera movements really help capture the urgency and danger. There are nail biting moments throughout. Maganda rin yung twist, very unique for me, hindi yung madaling hulaan. As the story progresses, a bigger conspiracy starts to form. It also touches on technology, how everything is hackable nowadays, and how heavily we rely on tech inside our own homes, to the point that it can become the downfall of our privacy and security. Ito yung kind of film na akala mo alam mo na yung buong plot, pero palalim nang palalim beyond surface level knowledge. In the end, it’s also a film about corporate greed and substandard projects, judges being in the pocket of contractors, and journalists frustrated because they can’t uncover the whole truth behind corruption. Stand out performance for Seo Hyun-woo.
