Ticket to Paradise 2022

Fun and competitive movie. The banter between them carries most of the energy. And not every day I get to see George Clooney dance like that, that alone already made it entertaining! The film really leans into the push and pull of a divorced couple forced to work together again. They are constantly trying to outsmart each other, but underneath all that competitiveness there is still unresolved connection. It talks about marriage and divorce and all the complexities that come with both. How love can shift, break, and sometimes still linger even after everything falls apart. In the end it feels light, easy to watch, but still touches on something real about relationships.
