I love how natural Nora and Agnes are. Rachel was also very natural in her performance. Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas sometimes looks like Cobie Smulders. I feel like Gustav (Stellan Skarsgård) only wanted to make a film about his mother so he could express his unsaid feelings and reconnect with his family, but he just couldn’t say it directly. The film touches on how childhood can make or break a person. I wasn’t really moved by this film, though.
