My Neighbor Totoro 1988

My daughter liked this. She likes Ponyo too, so I can see the pattern of what appeals to her. What I picked up from the film is how, when we teach children to be strong and independent, they sometimes start acting like adults too early. They carry responsibilities and emotions beyond their age and slowly forget that they are still just children.
