Castle in the Sky 1986

I really struggled to stay awake here, even during the action sequences. I thought watching it on a big screen would add some charm and immersion, but it still did not work for me. I can see the appeal though. The adventure and treasure hunt aspect is there, and it reminds me of something like Disney’s Atlantis, especially with the mix of exploration and military involvement. But despite that, I could not stay engaged. I kept dozing off, which made it hard for me to fully connect with the film.
