Ang pagiging ina pala wala sa kasarian, distansya, o sa dugo. Ang pagiging ina ay nasa puso. I love the continuous shots, blocking, lighting, and colors, both in the joyful and emotional sequences. All of these breathe life into the scenes. I laughed so hard at some of the jokes. And I cried during some of the emotional beats, especially those involving the fear of losing someone because underneath all the humor is this anxiety that something precious can suddenly be taken away. Such a satisfying emotional release. I never thought Vice Ganda would be this good. The dramatic side feels much more sincere and vulnerable than I expected. Nadine and Lucas gave great performances too. Watched in Netflix.
