I call this Project Almanac. There are a lot of callbacks from the first movie. It almost feels like history repeating itself, leaning into nostalgia and familiarity. Seeing events echo in different timelines was fun and clever at the same time. I did not really overthink the time travel logic. I just went along with the story. Because if I start analyzing every detail, I feel like it would ruin the enjoyment. The stakes get really complicated though. Ang daming timelines and threads na nagsasabay sabay. It becomes messy as it feels like a chain of cause and effect, timelines stacking on top of each other. The ending is where it really gets better. It sets up something exciting and gives me something to look forward to. Overall it is a fun, wild, and dangerous ride!
