Dead Poets Society 1989

I don’t know why this film is considered a classic. It feels pretty common to me. A group of boys in an elite school with strict administrators and parents. Basically, they have no support system except for one another and a teacher who challenges the traditional idea of what education should be. Maybe I just wasn’t raised in that kind of elite environment or experienced that specific kind of pressure, which is why I couldn’t really resonate with it.
