The Drama 2026
Funny banter from the start, and I like that there are more lines for Alana Haim. Her range is highlighted here.
This is not something like Die My Love, Challengers, or The Worst Person in the World, though it has some elements of them. Makes sense? It leans into something more controversial, something I would not expect to be integrated into a romcom. That shift makes it stand out because it plays with expectations.
The turning point really comes from that last minute dealbreaker with the fiancée. That moment changes everything. It sends the story into a wild turn of events and completely shifts how I see the person I thought I already understood. Ang bilis mag flip ng perception.
Also, the coincidence that I watched this right after Polytechnique is wild. I do not want to spoil the fun, but you will get it once you watch this.
And the ending… oh the things you do for love!
