I kept on guessing about the mysterious girl behind the door and the mechanical thing. Is the girl a ghost? May disease? Time traveler? Is the mechanical piece something that traveled from the past? What’s that C3PO-looking thing? It feels really out of touch with the rest of the film. And what’s the deal with the midget reciting numbers? Ang weird talaga. Pero nung nireveal na siya, parang normal lang naman. The mystery dragged on for too long with little to no clues added along the way. It feels like Beauty and the Beast but with the genders swapped. Ang cringe ng relationship nila, parang maglolo na sila. So is this a heist film? So forged din pala yung love? The twist didn’t really hit. Not quite impactful.
