Goldfinger 1964

Sean Connery really carried this film. His presence alone makes everything feel more engaging. The confidence, the charm, and that effortless coolness define the whole experience. I personally like the set design, especially during the briefing scene of Project Grand Slam. The moving furniture and opening floors are really impressive. It feels futuristic for its time and adds a sense of spectacle to the villain’s plan. Goldfinger’s plan itself is actually great. It is not just about stealing wealth but manipulating value on a larger scale, which makes it more interesting than a typical heist. This is just a simple Bond film, but elevated by Connery’s performance and a memorable villain concept.
