Visually, it actually looks solid, especially in how it builds the flooded environment with the help of great CGI and sets. It feels like a mix of Crawl and Under Paris, with that same setup of a flooded city and a lurking predator slowly picking off survivors one by one. The premise itself has potential because that kind of setting naturally builds tension. But the script really brings it down. It is so stupid in a way that sometimes becomes unintentionally funny, but the actual punch lines are not really good. The humor feels forced. The acting also does not help. It feels weak, and I could not connect with any of the characters. Because of that, the tension does not fully work since I do not really care who survives.
