The Super Mario Galaxy Movie 2026

Surprisingly good! I had no expectations going in, but wow just wow. The camera movements are superb and there are a lot of shots that really pop out even if the IMAX version I watched was not in 3D. I can only imagine how much more it would hit if it was actually in 3D. It is honestly the first time in a long while I felt that kind of visual excitement, probably since Megamind or Minions where the format really adds to the experience. The score is also great. Very heroic and uplifting, it matches the energy of the film perfectly. I also like that there is a reconnecting with sisters storyline. It actually made me think, is it a recurring theme for 2026?
