Oh, these people would really love electric cars. The muted colors really took me out of the experience. But they worked during the rainy standoff, which kind of felt like something made by Zack Snyder with all the slow motion and gloomy atmosphere. I’m also really bored with the apocalyptic trope where the threat suddenly shifts from monsters or creatures to other people living in the same dangerous world. The story starts with monsters or creatures being the main threat, then eventually decides that the real danger is other surviving humans. Meh. But the vest covered with cellphones was brilliant. It basically worked like a bomb vest, except the danger came from all those phones making noise at once.
