Beautiful representation of what is happening inside a person’s mind with dementia. At first it is quite confusing, almost like a mind fuck film where I am trying to piece things together. But as the story goes on, everything slowly becomes clearer, and that confusion starts to make emotional sense. And I can really feel the pain in Anthony’s situation. Being confused all the time, forgetting things, mixing things up, it is exhausting and heartbreaking. Anthony Hopkins was superb. Another newfound respect for this seasoned actor. I can feel all the emotions he's experiencing. Definitely worth a rewatch. The drama and storytelling are strong, and I feel like it will hit even harder the second time.
