If not, save this post and come back after. ⚠️ It opens with an Ed Sheeran song that immediately puts me in a positive mood before the film slowly drops the emotional weight later on. The cheerful music acts like a soft cushion, so when the story starts getting heavier, the contrast hits harder. It felt weird at first seeing Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) portrayed as having a wife, but I adjusted quickly once the story established its tone and intentions. The chemistry between Matt and Gia works really well. It feels natural and relaxed, not forced or overly dramatic, which makes their interactions easy to watch and believable. Kim Coates and Alyson provide solid comedic relief. Their timing helps break heavier moments and keeps the pacing balanced. Jonathan and Julee also deliver good performances that support the story without stealing attention away from the central relationship. I’m glad the trailer stayed vague because I went in not fully knowing what direction it would take, which made the experience more enjoyable. I thought it would be a sad, reflective story about loss but it turned out to be a great romance film Overall the film is funny, charming, and feel good. The humor never feels out of place and the emotional beats stay light enough to remain comforting.
