Billie Eilish — Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) 2026
I like the Billie and James dynamic directing the whole thing. It feels collaborative and personal. And thank God it is less documentary than other concert films, because the concert itself stays as the main experience.
At first, I just vibed with it since I am not a fan and I do not know her songs, but I literally shed tears with The Greatest and TV. I resonated and felt the pain of those two songs. Like what is the point of everything in this life if the people around me take me for granted and my efforts are not turned into gratitude.
This concert film has more heart and emotion than any concert film I have watched. I went in not a fan but went out with so much appreciation.
3D technology is nothing new in the experience. Watched it in SM Cinema, and I think SM still uses Real-D technology. But not as immersive as One Direction: This Is Us (2013), with its playfulness and more 3D text effects. But the immersiveness with Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour Live in 3D, does not come from gimmicks. It comes from feeling connected with the people in the concert venue and slowly rooting for Billie Eilish.
