Helping is not a crime. It is an act of humanity. It is really hard to do good in such a cruel world. Sometimes the people trying to help are the ones who end up fighting against systems, indifference, and circumstances that make compassion much harder than it should be. I felt their frustration, especially the feeling that they were almost alone in this fight. But they had the grit and passion to keep helping other people. That burning desire is what kept them going even when there seemed to be no one else willing to do the difficult work. And that last part, yeah, it was sad. It almost felt like “money well spent” in reverse. After everything that was sacrificed and poured into helping people, the ending makes the waste feel even more painful. The outcome makes you think about how much more could have been done if the same resources had been used differently. Watched on Netflix.
